Clearly I am no green thumb.  By this time of year in PA, everything is looking a little scraggly.  The mums which were beautiful a few weeks ago are now dead thanks to a cold snap or two and a lack of watering.  So here’s the front porch situation.

We are hosting Thanksgiving this weekend, so I needed my fall porch to stretch just a little bit longer.  Here’s what I did…

With just a bit of spray paint, it’s like giving these poor things a second life.

Now friends, they are still dead plants, so there’s only so good this can get.  But from a distance on the porch – it looks beautiful!!

The following are affiliate links to help you find the items I use and love.  If you purchase from these links a portion of each purchase goes to support more awesome blog posts!! See my full disclosure policy here.

Here are the paint colors I used:

Cherry Red

Caramel Latte

Golden Glow Glitter

Silver Flash Glitter

I may add some evergreens with the red mums for Christmas decor when we switch it all over in the next few weeks.

I think the glitter on the kale is my favorite.  It looks like frost!!

There you go, grab your spray paint and extend the life of your plants!!  An easy DIY for a little curb appeal.  Who would have thought spray painting plants would be so fun?!?

Until next time!
