I have a quick before and after post for you today.  I found this three drawer nightstand at one of my favorite second hand shops, and knew the curves and details would be so much fun to paint up and play with a bit.

Curvy pieces like this just seem like they need to be glammed up a bit, so I painted it first in Seagull Gray Milk Paint.  Then I added Champagne Pearl Effects.  It instantly gives it an all over metallic look.  Somewhere between a silver and pearl.  It’s truly gorgeous.  The nice thing about it too is that it’s fancy without being in your face.  This finish would be one that would easily dress up any piece of furniture.

The hardware complimented the piece so well I just cleaned it up a bit and put it right back on the piece.

I have a Youtube tutorial showing you this exact finish!  It’s an older tutorial video, but it shows the tricks I have for applying the Pearl Effects to get it nice and even.

The photos don’t do this finish justice.  This piece is available at Eleven Eleven Gifts in Evans City, PA.  To see more details and find out what else is available there, head over to my shop!

I just picked up a big inventory of new pieces, so I’m off to paint!

Until next time,

Jenni
