Sometimes all a piece of furniture needs for a completely different look is a few coats of paint and some new hardware!
My client just did a home renovation, so she loved the function of this piece, but the colors weren’t working so well anymore.
Her home is done in pastels, and she wanted a soft yellow to compliment a pair of curtains in her kitchen. Cue General Finishes Buttermilk Yellow Milk Paint. It’s a soft rich yellow that is truly buttery. It’s a gorgeous color!
I couldn’t resist getting a few photos under our beautiful red fall tree! Not to mention, my photo booth is not back in action yet 🙂
The top of this piece was in really good shape, so we kept it the original finish.
I found these knobs at Hobby Lobby – they are the perfect compliment to the piece, both in style and color – it gives just the right amount of feminine bling.

This piece will be delivered back to it’s home this weekend, ready for a new lease on life in a pretty new color.
Happy painting friends!!
