I've had this chest sitting around for quite a while, it was just not too inspiring. But I've been working on cleaning out all those cast-offs that have been sitting for too long.
It's a blonde mahogany piece, solid with great bones. But now, it looks so much better...
This piece got two coats of General Finishes Lamp Black Milk Paint. I always use the Purdy XL Cub, and get excellent results with it. An excellent brush gives you an excellent finish!
The edges of this piece were guilded with Rub n' Buff just to give it a little extra glam. Also because I didn't want to distress and see the blonde finish underneath, this gives it the distressed look but with gold!
New mercury glass knobs were added to the top drawers and handles also rubbed in Rub n' Buff. This piece is ready to add glamorous storage to a new home!
This post contains affiliate links so you can find and use the things I love. I'm also working on a "Resources" page on the website so everything I use is in one place for you to find.
